Episode Overview
Toni experiences a significant moment during her therapy session with Dr. Miller. When asked whom she would choose to be stranded with on a deserted island, she selects Joan, leading to a revelation that she genuinely loves her. This realization fills her with joy, but Todd feels hurt when she shares this news. He is frustrated that she didn't recognize her capacity for love earlier and views her choice of Joan over him as a disregard for his feelings. William advises Toni against discussing her therapy insights with Todd and suggests she find a way to express her gratitude to him. Planning a surprise picnic, Toni is disheartened to find Todd dining with a charming coworker, leading her to suspect infidelity.
