Episode Overview
William persuades Joan to organize a baby shower for his sister, Linda, and her partner, Kira. During the festivities, Kira unexpectedly goes into labor. Joan anxiously frets about the birthing pool potentially damaging her floors. Meanwhile, Lynn drives everyone up the wall with her endless baby name suggestions and their meanings. Tensions rise when William expresses doubts about Linda's commitment to parenthood, leading to a heated argument. Linda threatens to keep William from his potential nephew, prompting him to refuse relinquishing his parental rights. His friends urge him to reconsider, and after reflecting on the situation, he apologizes, realizing the weight of the decision. In a moment of agreement, he and Joan decide to have a baby together if neither of them is married or a parent in ten years.
