Episode Overview

Joan is convinced she's suffered a heart attack, but the doctor assures her it was merely an arrhythmia. Her mother, Lynn, clarifies that she didn't sleep with William; she visited to discuss matters and was in a robe because she needed to clean up before her flight. Lynn had deleted William's call, thinking it was about a kangaroo. Though the confusion is resolved, Joan starts to have doubts about her feelings for William, only to reconsider those doubts later. Meanwhile, Maya appears on Lynn's public access show, expecting to promote her book, but finds herself caught off guard instead.
