Stu Redmond teams up with Frannie Goldsmith and others, as Nick Andros and the first group of travelers reach her. Mother Abigail reveals their next destination: Colorado. Meanwhile, Randall Flagg is amassing his own forces, releasing Lloyd Henreid from prison, and using dreams to draw in Nadine Cross, who was previously with Larry Underwood.
