The Wild Wild West (1965)

Episode Overview

West and Pike receive a mysterious note asking them to meet a woman at a Chinese restaurant in San Francisco, where she claims to have crucial information about the militant Din Chang, who has recently stolen fulminate of mercury from a military stockpile. Unfortunately, before they can speak to her, she is murdered, leaving behind only the word "Pelican." To make matters worse, the one suspect they manage to apprehend is believed to be incarcerated at Alcatraz. Realizing that both Alcatraz and the woman are key elements in the case, they decide to split up and race against time to find Chang before he can exploit the dangerous mercury.
