West and Gordon are summoned to Mexico to look into a gang of bandits wreaking havoc on border towns. Their search leads them to a small village where the criminals are concealing themselves, leveraging an ancient legend about Cortez. Skeptical of the myth surrounding the return of the god Cortez, Jim and Arte are resolute in their mission to infiltrate the dormant volcano where the outlaws are hiding.
