Episode Overview

After trekking through the vast wilderness, Tripitaka and his famished disciples stumble upon a remote town. For two long years, the vicious demon Kari-Temo Hanja has been terrorizing the place, abducting brides during wedding ceremonies ever since her son and his human wife deserted her. Seeking assistance, Monkey approaches Senju Kannon Bosatsu, the Bodhisattva known for boundless fulfillment, who happens to have once been the demon’s master. Meanwhile, Tripitaka makes the daring decision to confront the demon herself...
