However, with a budget that falls short of their hopes, Drew and Jonathan face challenges convincing them of the potential in a fixer-upper. Tensions rise when a serious disagreement erupts between the couple, prompting Drew to step in as mediator. Things take a turn for the worse when a premature shortcut uncovers several unwelcome surprises, jeopardizing the timeline. Additionally, Krysten receives surprising news that has them reconsidering their choice. While Jonathan works through these issues, Matt is eager to celebrate with an extravagant gift.
