Episode Overview

James and David are eager to break free from their cramped townhouse, which is uncomfortably close to a foul-smelling sewage plant and has daunting stairs. They yearn for a spacious home with plenty of natural light and tall ceilings in a downtown location. The Property Brothers step in to assist, aiming to find a dream home that fits their budget and can be renovated in time. However, Drew and Jonathan face challenges convincing the couple about the potential of a fixer-upper within their financial limits. As renovations kick off, James enthusiastically takes a sledgehammer to their future home, but David's perfectionist tendencies complicate matters for Jonathan with a growing list of costly additions. Living in the basement during the renovations puts a strain on the couple, yet David still insists on making one final tweak to the plans.
