Episode Overview
After raising their children, Glenda and Dave decided to move to the countryside, only to quickly realize it was a mistake. They’ve since sold their house and returned to the city, where they’re now stuck in a less-than-ideal rental. Eager to find a stylish downtown home perfect for entertaining, they envision a chic new space. Glenda, haunted by past renovation disasters, is hesitant about taking on a fixer-upper. However, Jonathan assures her he’ll handle everything, and with Drew's savvy real estate guidance, they promise to deliver a stunning property on time and within budget. While Glenda and Dave are away on vacation, Jonathan discovers a slew of unexpected repairs. Just when it seems everything is back on track, a significant feature of the home unexpectedly detaches from the wall.
