Episode Overview
After spending ten months in her parents' basement, Julie, Adam, and their two young children are eager to find their own home. They prefer to remain near family, but discovering a move-in ready house in their pricey neighborhood is more challenging than they anticipated. Having tackled two renovations themselves, the couple is hesitant to consider a fixer-upper. That's when the Property Brothers arrive with a solution. Drew takes charge of negotiating a deal on a solid family home, while Jonathan works to ease the couple's renovation anxieties. As they dive into demolition, it becomes a surprisingly therapeutic experience. However, once the walls come down, a heavy rain uncovers a long list of expensive repairs needed.
