The Lucy Show (1962)

Episode Overview

Lucy pretends to be ill to skip work and join Carol, who is set to perform at a golf tournament in Palm Springs. Upon their arrival, the hotel staff discovers that the two women are sharing a room, which leads Lucy to unexpectedly join in on the show. She cleverly manages to meet the renowned actor, Collin Grant (Dan Rowan), who invites her to a dinner dance. This unexpected opportunity provides a perfect reason for her to avoid returning to work, especially when she learns that Mr. Mooney is Mr. Grant's partner for the tournament.
