Episode Overview

Brighton struggles with his French class, leading Mr. Sheffield to hire a charming and attractive tutor. Fran can’t resist flirting with him, and he unexpectedly proposes marriage. Mr. Sheffield raises concerns about the tutor's intentions, suspecting he may be using the proposal to secure a green card. Fran dismisses his worries until she discovers that Philippe has also made advances towards C.C. Realizing his true motives, she breaks off the engagement. In an effort to comfort her, Mr. Sheffield takes Fran out for a night on the town.
