Episode Overview

Overwhelmed by the demands of motherhood and longing for her own identity, Fran contemplates leaving the mansion for a fresh start. Mr. Sheffield, confident she can't go through with it, inadvertently motivates her decision. Fran and Val settle into a cramped apartment surrounded by a lively community of gay men. While Fran yearns for the comforts of the mansion, she refuses to let Mr. Sheffield think he’s right. Unbeknownst to her, he secretly hopes for her return. Together, they enlist Sylvia's help, and Fran ultimately finds her way back home.
