Episode Overview

Mr. Sheffield and C.C. plan a romantic weekend in Boston, but Niles turns it into a family trip. With Mr. Sheffield away, Fran, Maggie, and Niles enjoy a quiet house until Fran decides to host a singles party to meet a potential suitor. However, the fun is cut short when an undercover officer arrives and arrests Fran for lacking the necessary permits. After a night in jail, Fran comes home to a furious Mr. Sheffield, who nearly fires her—until Maggie intervenes, taking the blame. When Fran faces court, Mr. Sheffield unexpectedly arrives to rescue her from her befuddled lawyer, Uncle Mannie.
