Episode Overview
After clinching the prestigious Tony Award for "The Widower," triumphing over his longtime foe Andrew Lloyd Webber, Mr. Sheffield finds himself at the center of scandalous tabloid rumors alleging an affair with Fran since his honeymoon. This deeply troubles Maggie, who struggles to accept the truth. Fran, meanwhile, is more offended by the tabloid's claim that she is 40 than the affair itself. Determined to set the record straight, Maxwell and Fran confront the journalist, who reveals their story was the worst-selling in years. Meanwhile, Niles feels snubbed for not being invited to the cast party, prompting Dr. Miller to encourage Mr. Sheffield to honor him with a "Butler of the Year" award.
