Jay Leno entrusts his dog to Mr. Sheffield while Fran faces a tax audit that proves to be challenging, despite her attempts to charm her way through it with flirtation and champagne. In need of assistance, she reaches out to Mr. Sheffield, and together they head to the INS office to validate her income taxes. The proceedings take a turn for the worse until Jay Leno makes a surprise appearance, delighting the appeals officer and ultimately leading to the dismissal of Fran's case.
