Episode Overview

Nigel Sheffield comes to New York, but with Maxwell preoccupied, he enlists Fran to be his tour guide. They hit the nightlife, and Fran revels in the excitement, finally enjoying the social life she had longed for while working at the house. To her astonishment, Nigel proposes and invites her to join him on a luxurious yacht. Torn between her feelings for Maxwell, who has remained stagnant for three years, and the allure of Nigel, she faces a dilemma. Ultimately, she decides to leave with Nigel but misses the boat and returns home. Maxwell, arriving just in time, helps her after she twists her ankle, reminding her that some paths are not meant to cross.
