Episode Overview

Inga longs to be with Karl, but her parents are hesitant to endanger their Jewish relatives by providing them shelter. Meanwhile, Rudi escapes from their hiding location. Erik Dorf collaborates with Heydrich to strategize and implement the Final Solution. Moses and Dr. Weiss are apprehended as the Nazis invade Poland. Helena bravely saves Rudi from a Nazi patrol. Berta reunites with her husband in the Warsaw ghetto. Ultimately, Rudi and Helena manage to flee to Russia, seeking safety from the horrors surrounding them.
