Disappeared (2010)

Episode Overview

On the Sunday following Thanksgiving in 2007, Mandy Stokes steps out of her apartment to run some errands. When she hasn't come back by the next morning, her friends and family don’t panic right away, but Mandy's mother senses that something is off. Trusting her instincts, she prompts the Oakland Police to launch a missing person investigation, which leads them from Mandy's shared apartment to a deep ravine where they discover her abandoned car. In a shocking turn of events, the case is handed over to the Homicide Unit, forcing Mandy's mother to confront the unsettling possibility that her own son might be connected to her daughter’s disappearance.
