Leah Peebles has relocated from her family home in Texas to Albuquerque, NM, seeking a new beginning after battling drug addiction for years. Despite her loving family background, Leah had turned to substances as a way to cope with past traumas, including childhood molestation and teenage rape. Now sober for the first time in years, she is excited to pursue a career as a hairstylist and rebuild her life. However, just weeks after her arrival, Leah goes out on a date and disappears. Concerned about the slow police response, her father takes it upon himself to find her. He soon uncovers that Leah has relapsed into drugs and resorted to prostitution to fuel her addiction. As rumors swirl and the Peebles worry she may have met with foul play, Mr. Peebles navigates Albuquerque’s dark underbelly, determined to bring his daughter home.
