Episode Overview
The Olympic, sister ship to the Titanic, suffers another setback. Mark finds himself unable to leave, while Sofia must defer her plans to care for her injured colleague, Pietro. Together with Andrews, Mark searches for innovative solutions. They discover that the ship's steel is alarmingly inadequate, and the damage reveals a serious flaw in its construction. They realize that the double hull could have provided vital protection, and while such a disaster seems unlikely in the vast Atlantic, they are left to ponder worst-case scenarios. Meanwhile, Emily faces an astonishingly harsh six-month prison sentence, and tragedy strikes again when Conor is fatally shot amid rising tensions as Unionists push for a new Northern Ireland.
