Episode Overview
The Admiralty launches an investigation into the Olympic disaster, summoning Pirrie, Andrews, Morgan, and Mark to London. Mark is delighted to reunite with his old friend Kitty, now a celebrated figure. During the inquiry, Winston Churchill, the First Lord of the Admiralty, hints at the shipyard’s potential military uses amid rising tensions. Meanwhile, Joanna Yaeger, Mark's former New York acquaintance and Morgan's mentee, is thrust into a perilous role as a spy, with vital access to aid the Austro-Hungarian and German efforts. Back in Belfast, Mark grapples with a personal turmoil as Andrea, Sofia's previous fiancé, confronts them. Ultimately, Sofia chooses Mark, and they decide to move to London together, marking a significant departure from Harland & Wolff and abandoning his quest to find his daughter. The episode culminates in the awe-inspiring launch of the Titanic.
