Episode Overview

Following a deduction from his paycheck, Ches Ryan decides to strike back by stealing the payroll. During his getaway, he finds himself in a town suffering from a mysterious illness. There, he encounters a young woman and her sick little brother, who are left to fend for themselves, prompting him to stay and assist them. Meanwhile, Dan tracks him down and ends up catching the fever as well. In the end, Ryan takes on the responsibility of caring for Dan too.
