Episode Overview

After one member of the Cauley gang is apprehended, he is taken to Laramie for his trial, as the town where he was caught couldn't find anyone willing to serve on a jury. The remaining five Cauleys have issued death threats against anyone who would participate. Dan believes the community will unite, but he soon realizes that fear spreads quickly. Ultimately, discovering that only one juror is needed in extreme situations, Dan randomly selects a name from the tax register, only to be stunned when it’s Lily. She agrees to serve, leaving Dan anxious for her safety until the trial concludes.
