Episode Overview

Clootey, a skilled female gunslinger from the hills, arrives in Laramie to gather supplies. During a heavy downpour at night, she rejects the flirtations of a drunken man named Earl in the Bird Cage. When he confronts her in the street, she engages in a fair duel and shoots him down. Dan attempts to apprehend her, but Clootey confidently asserts that she can draw faster than him. Earl's more level-headed brother, Paul, proposes that she have a gunfight to truly demonstrate her speed in comparison to the deceased Earl.
