Episode Overview

Adam embarks on an adventure across New Zealand’s North Island, beginning in the stunning kauri forests up north. He makes a stop in Dargaville, known as the kumara capital, and then heads to a kiwifruit farm in Te Puke. In Rotorua, he partakes in a traditional Māori "Hāngi" feast and spontaneously joins a game of rugby. After visiting a farm with shorthorn cattle, Adam travels to the coast to experience the local tradition of the "bach," a simple holiday shack. He concludes his North Island journey with a delicious plate of roast Shorthorn beef and kawakawa, enjoying the view of the ocean from the deck.
