Episode Overview

While interviewing Father Liam, a reporter witnesses Amanda being killed and then brought back to life. Amanda is battling Sean, an Immortal seeking revenge on Liam for the death of his adoptive mother during the Revolutionary War. This tragedy led Liam to take vows as a priest, a promise made when he hoped for her survival, which never came, though Amanda deceived him about it. Upon learning the truth, Liam surrenders to Sean and his gang of Immortals. Despite Nick and Amanda's efforts to shield him, Liam refuses to fight back, prompting Sean to relent. The reporter sees everything unfold but knows no one will believe her—until she pens the story as a fictional novel.
