S02E15 Toby or Not Toby
Episode Overview
When Martin shows up at the office, he finds Toby in an unusually cheerful mood. Curious about her joy, he discovers that it's her birthday. Realizing he forgot, Martin is in hot water but learns he can redeem himself by following her gift ideas. Toby has grand plans for her special day, but unexpected disruptions arise, including a surprise wedding, numerous business calls, and a measles outbreak. Meanwhile, Martin has to attend Aunt Minnie’s wake, and a disappointed Toby decides to accompany him. At the wake, Toby notices how Aunt Minnie shares many of her own traits, which brings her down. Despite Martin's efforts to cheer her up, things start to spiral. The situation worsens, leading to a rough end to the evening. The following day, Toby and Martin stumble into work, nursing serious hangovers.
