Episode Overview

After being promoted to Detective Chief Inspector, Carol dives into a murder case that has the unmistakable signs of gang leader Gavin Cochran. The twist? Cochran is currently incarcerated for another murder, making it impossible for him to have committed this latest crime. Carol enlists Tony to uncover any connections between the two killings, resulting in the arrest of Cochran's brother, George. A violent confrontation ensues, leaving George in a coma. Meanwhile, Gavin is granted temporary release from prison for a compassionate visit, during which another murder occurs, providing Tony with the chance to prove his theory and expose the true killer.
