Episode Overview

After a rapist, convicted based on Tony's testimony, is released, Tony finds his credibility in question. Compounding his turmoil, Carol has departed for South Africa without a word. In an effort to regain his sense of purpose, he steps in to assist her replacement, Alex, another female officer, as they investigate a series of young women's murders, with their bodies discovered buried in remote fields. Tony connects the crimes to a sadomasochistic website that the killer used to ensnare his victims, exploiting their sexual fantasies to lead them to their tragic ends.
