Life Goes On (1989)

Episode Overview

Just after turning 18, Jesse collapses at school, wracked with pain and fever, and is rushed to the hospital unconscious. His condition has worsened to AIDS from his AIDS Related Complex. Throughout his illness, he experiences vivid dreams, including one where Ray shares a passionate kiss with Becca at Jesse's funeral, and another where he and Becca celebrate together in a beautiful setting, dressed elegantly. While Jesse fights his illness, Ray takes Becca out on a date. Unable to address his class about AIDS, Jesse's words are read by Becca, leaving her heartbroken, before Goodman steps in to help her finish.
