Episode Overview
The South Atlantic emerges as a critical theater in the larger Battle of the Atlantic, highlighted by the chase of the Graf Spee and the clash between HMS Devonshire and the German raider Atlantis. In the meantime, the Allies strengthen their connections with South America, establishing an important base on Ascension Island. Although many in South America harbor strong Nazi sympathies, the nations ultimately unite in support of the Allies, providing essential bases, troops, and resources to the effort.
