S01E09 SEA AND SAND: Invasion of North Africa, 1942-1943
Episode Overview
As the Soviet Union endures relentless pressure from Nazi forces, they call for the establishment of a "second front." In response, Roosevelt and Churchill convene in Casablanca and decide to launch their first invasion in North Africa, targeting General Rommel’s troops through Operation Torch. The Allies also work to undermine several Axis supply bases in the Mediterranean. Although the Germans attempt to counterattack, their efforts ultimately prove futile.
