Episode Overview

Stephen embarks on a journey through Belize, the sole former British colony in Central America, where he feeds injured manatees and enjoys the vibrant sounds of the Garifuna culture. He also encounters a rehabilitated drug addict residing 40 miles away from the mainland on the Turneffe Flats. Upon reaching Guatemala, he discovers the art of weaving alongside the Mayan community and partners with a former Miss Guatemala by the shores of Lake Atitlan. His adventure continues with a night patrol alongside a volunteer heart surgeon, adding another layer to his experience.
