Episode Overview

Stephen embarks on a journey through El Salvador and Honduras, known as two of the most perilous nations in Central America due to gang violence and drug trafficking. Despite the risks, El Salvador boasts some of the finest surfing conditions in the Americas, and he quickly finds himself convinced to give surfing a try. In Honduras, he explores a banana plantation focused on cultivating new varieties and encounters a woman infamous for the shocking crime of killing and cooking six of her husbands. He then crosses into Nicaragua, where he tours a cigar factory and learns the art of maypole dancing.
