Episode Overview
In the early morning in Japan, a convoy of black three-wheeled vehicles approaches the Cupola Castle, a pagoda-like structure. Using advanced technology, a group of agile men in black infiltrates the building and secretly places a miniature bomb inside a suit of armor. Meanwhile, during the Fujiyama Grand Prix, Racer X is closing in on Speed, who is leading the race in the 30th lap. Unbeknownst to Speed, Racer X is actually his long-lost brother Rex. Racer X praises Speed's skills, noting he's improved since their last encounter. Ultimately, the Mach Five narrowly beats the Shooting Star to claim victory. Pops expresses a wish that Rex could celebrate Speed's win, unaware that Rex, disguised as Racer X, is watching nearby. After the race, Speed and Trixie plan to explore, while Spritle hopes to join them. Pops promises to buy Spritle a pound of candied kumquats to keep him occupied. As Speed
