Speed Racer (1967)

Episode Overview

Vavoom Motor Co. is in the process of developing a supersonic car, with Speed taking on the role of test driver. However, agents from Forthebird Motor Co. interfere, sabotaging the vehicle and placing the blame on Speed for the mishap. They insist on replacing him as the test driver, but Speed decides to participate in their driving tests and once more demonstrates that he is the top driver. Meanwhile, Forthebird's agents plan to detonate a bomb at the finish line to ruin the car, but Spritle overhears their scheme and quickly alerts Speed.
