Episode Overview
In the continuation of the Dangerfield family's story, Paul Dangerfield delves deeper into the mystery surrounding Susan Wood's death and finds himself increasingly drawn to the charming Rachel Palmer. His romantic life takes a twist when Joanna surprises him with a visit to Norfolk, only to be taken aback by the sight of Paul and Rachel sharing a cozy afternoon tea. Meanwhile, in Warwickshire, the health centre experiences a break-in, during which Shaaban is attacked. Joanna is also busy assisting young mother Penny Noakes, becoming alarmed by the violent tendencies of Penny's boyfriend, Alan Gordon. Eventually, Joanna learns that Gordon was behind the robbery, and fearing he may have inherited schizophrenia from his father, he loses control and takes Joanna hostage during a routine visit. Ken Jackson rushes to the rescue, hoping to resolve the situation safely.
