Caught in a struggle between her allegiance to the Circle and her family, Cassie grapples with the secrets she must hide from her grandmother. Meanwhile, Nick is surprised by Melissa's sudden change in demeanor as she recruits him to help locate her family's Book of Shadows. Faye feels left out as a third wheel in this mission. On another front, Diana longs for some quality time with Adam and plans a date night to rekindle their romance. However, the entire group must unite to confront a dark force that threatens to tear the Circle apart. Meanwhile, unaware of the looming danger, Dawn boards Charles's boat to advance their Circle plans, only to discover that Charles has more than just business on his mind.
