Episode Overview
John Cage faces the challenge of his own fears when he encounters a former law school classmate, who happens to be opposing counsel in his current case. It becomes clear to Ally that John has strong feelings for this woman. He confesses that he chose the safer path by prioritizing their friendship over the risk of rejection. Ally urges him to express his feelings to Hayley, which he ultimately does during his closing arguments. Meanwhile, Georgia and Fish handle a case involving a heartbroken bride-to-be suing for both emotional and physical damages. The judge, Whipper Cone, struggles with her lingering feelings for Fish, leading to a moment where he admits he misses her. Whipper responds with a smile, hinting that she might be open to reconsidering their relationship.
