Jess is facing the possibility of failing chemistry, and if she doesn’t ace her upcoming test, she risks losing her spot on the cheerleading team. Meanwhile, Winston hacks into Mr. Russo's computer and stumbles upon a love letter intended for the secretary, which he then distributes throughout the school. Jess seizes this opportunity to trick Winston into revealing the test password, allowing her to obtain a copy and ultimately earn an A. However, Mr. Russo quickly realizes that the test has been stolen and suspects Jess. To clear her name, she shifts the blame to Winston by referencing the love letter. Once again, Liz steps in to save the day.
