This is the astonishing tale of Robert Durst, the wealthy heir to a massive real estate empire, who has connections to the mysterious deaths of his wife, his close friend, and a neighbor. For years, Durst has been shrouded in suspicion. His first wife vanished in 1982, and the investigation hit a dead end due to a lack of evidence and her body. Then, nearly two decades later, as authorities reopened the case, his best friend, Susan Berman, was found murdered in her home. At the same time, Durst was evading capture in Galveston, Texas, disguised as a deaf-mute woman. When his neighbor’s dismembered remains are discovered in Galveston Bay, Durst's facade begins to crumble. He gets arrested but soon posts bail and flees. The search for Robert Durst intensifies.
