Episode Overview

Upon uncovering the link between the recent murders and the Specimen Case, Ginoza removes Kogami from the investigation and asks Tsunemori to keep an eye on him. Tsunemori speaks with Kogami about Sasayama's death, and he shares his sole piece of evidence with her: a grainy photo of Makishima. Meanwhile, in a study with an older associate, Makishima discusses the details surrounding Rikako Oryo's father's demise and reflects on the declining life expectancy in their so-called "perfect" society. Later, Rikako continues her criminal activities with the aid of Makishima's accomplice, Choe Gu-Sung, and kidnaps another student concerned about her missing friend.
