Family Affair (1966)

Episode Overview

Eng Ho, Bill's friend, is organizing an arranged marriage for his daughter, Ming Lee, and asks Bill to provide her with temporary housing until the wedding. Cissy quickly befriends Ming Lee and introduces her to her social circle. However, Ming Lee develops feelings for her escort, complicating matters as her wedding approaches. Ultimately, she opts out of the marriage, prompting her father to threaten to return her to Hong Kong. Bill steps in and persuades Eng to allow Ming Lee to remain in America.
