Episode Overview
(Tampa, FL - 3:41 AM Burglary in Progress) District 2 - MPO Robert Newberry, inspired by a childhood incident at his father's racetrack, always dreamed of becoming a police officer. He and his team discover two men attempting to steal tires from a dealership. They track one down hiding beneath a red car while the K9 searches for his accomplice. Cornered in a parking lot, the suspect protests his innocence, claiming he only ran out of fear and was merely holding the tools under duress. Ft. Worth, TX (4:07 PM Suspicious Activity) Officer J.R. Mendoza, balancing police work and college, spots a vehicle parked suspiciously under a bridge in a drug-infested area. Upon investigation, he finds a woman in a blue pickup using drugs. Her husband, Barnet, is behind the wheel. She pleads for leniency, claiming her injury prompted her actions.
