Episode Overview
(11:22 PM Street Patrol) At the Shelby County Sheriff's Station, Lt. Mike McEachren praises the team for their successful pursuit the night before. Despite a rough start, everyone emerged unscathed and without damage. They stop a white and silver Pontiac Bonneville lacking a license plate and with a malfunctioning light. The driver, Tony Johnson, refuses to pull over and crosses into Mississippi, where he's ultimately apprehended. With him is his passenger, Amanda Mars. Deputy Vernon Pollahite Jr. reads them their rights, and Amanda explains Tony’s lack of a license motivated his flight, as he preferred a Mississippi jail. Officers Grayland King and Mike Fleming transport them. Deputy Mike Tulley reflects on the challenges of his job, noting the mix of good and bad he encounters.
