Walker, Texas Ranger (1993)
S06E10 Rainbow's End
Episode Overview
James Lee Crown aims to boost the value of his horse by recruiting someone from his rival's camp to ensure victory. He's particularly nervous about Wes Calhoun's horse. While Crown's insider has been effective thus far, Calhoun suspects his jockey isn’t giving it their all and warns him of replacement if it continues. After securing a win, Crown confronts Calhoun and his associate, but Calhoun distances himself from Crown's schemes. In a fit of rage, Crown shoots both men and the horse. Walker begins to suspect foul play after noticing Calhoun's jockey's behavior and asks Trivette to investigate. Meanwhile, he visits his friend Max Elson, a former rodeo star facing paralysis and financial peril. Elson hopes to save his ranch by entering his horse, Rainbow's End, in the Texas Derby, but first, they need a sponsor.
