Episode Overview

Joe Lopez, recently paroled, returns home to his wife, Marta, and son, Tommy, who are friends with Walker and his team. While Marta is hesitant about rekindling their relationship, Tommy harbors resentment towards his father. Marta offers Joe a position at her new restaurant. Meanwhile, Walker investigates a string of armed robberies linked to a group of paroled convicts residing in the same halfway house as Joe. The gang’s leader attempts to recruit Joe, who initially agrees but then confides in Walker. Walker plans to arrest the leader, but Joe insists on gathering information first. On the day of the robbery, Joe discovers that his parole officer, Buck Coburn, is orchestrating the crimes and that Tommy is being held hostage to ensure his compliance. Walker and Trivette eventually track down the robbery site to confront Coburn.
