Lt. Severide finds himself at the forefront as Det. Lindsay begins to bring in suspects who have the strongest reasons to want the man who abducted Katie out of the picture. Meanwhile, Jones continues to struggle with her integration into the team, as her ongoing issues come to the attention of the fire department's headquarters. In another storyline, Herrmann marks two decades of marriage with his wife, but his plans for an anniversary gift aren't met with enthusiasm from those around him.
